Thanksgiving day with The Turkeys and Pamela Anderson

My wife Daniela and I spent our Thanksgiving morning with Pamela Anderson and her boyfriend Jon Rose at Gentle Barn eating at a special table we made for the rescue turkeys there. We ate and fed the Turkeys Vegan Pumpkin Pie and enjoyed the time with the Turkeys. It was a people and turkey sit down :) with no living creature being eaten. It was so much fun. Pamela and I had a chance to spread the word about people becoming more compassionate and try a Vegan life style. We had a lot to be thankful for by having the chance to help get out the massage for the Turkeys and all the animals that can't speak for themselves. Pamela has truly become a voice for the animals. Her amazing and compassionate heart has really shined through in the past years and she has become a crusader for the animals. This week I am very proud of my OK! PETS page. The lovely and beautiful Elisabetta Canalis had a big enough heart to rescue a pigeon that was dying in the streets of Los Angeles. She took the bird home nursed him and took him to the Wildlife Care of Ventura County. There they got him back to health and ready to back home in the wild. Elisabetta took him back to the location where she found him and set him free. She will always have a place in her heart for her friend who she named Igor.

I'm glad to see there are still people out there that care for all creatures. Most people disregard pigeons as dirty rate with wings. They are still animals that feel pain and have emotions. Great work Elisabetta. - Peace

Exciting News!!!!! Our Independent film 'Bad Ass Girls' has been funded with a very descent budget and will go into pre-production at the end of 2011. We start film in 2012. The film is also being made into a graphic novel at the same time. Tom Malloy and I are really excited to make this movie. It has been a great project from the start and we new we would get it made. Vegas Week Crazy !!!!

It was a crazy busy week last week with shoots in Vegas. Daniela and I went down with our dear friend Debra Wilson. We had made a mini vacation while we worked. Our first shoot was with the hit cable show 'Pawn Stars' Rick and Corey Harrison at their shop 'American Gold and Silver' The guys were great to work with and the photos came out just like I visioned them. They will be published soon and I will post them.

Next was our beautiful friend Holly Madison and the cast of her television show 'Holly's World. We shot with Holly at the Planet Hollywood theatre that holds Holly's 'Peep Show' What a great time wit the cast and all of their pets. I'm really excited about these shots. It is always great to see and spend time with Holly. This upcoming week is very busy with shoots and all kinds of exciting things. I will keep you updated.

This week in my OK! Pets feature the talented Ally Walker and her rescues. Ally has amazing stories about how she rescued these three wonderful pups. The photo is a beautiful colorful shot done at Ally's home. For you camera buffs the shot was done with three strobes and natural daylight. My main light was upfront on my right side the same side the natural daylight was coming through the window. Behind Ally was a back light to highlight the hair. Off to the back left was a fill light for the floor and pups. On Stands now!!!

This week in my OK! PETS feature Ricky Schroder and one of his pets a donkey named Sugar. What a beautiful and smart animal.

For you camera buffs that always ask. I shot this with two strobes. One was in the back off to left of photo the other was front fill slightly of to my right. It was a very bright day but as you can see from the photo there was not my color besides the robe on Sugar. The back light really ads to some highlights. ISO was at 250 Shutter 125

Daniela Ameruoso photo shoot

Okay, here is a new shoot I did with my beautiful wife Daniela. This one should fill your days with color. For all you photographers that email me all the time asking about lighting here is how this one went down. Believe it or not most of this is natural light. It is about 5 pm the sun was not directly in the room but it was fairly bright. I used a fill flat panel strobe light that was 650 watts. It was not facing Daniela directly but off to my left side and the panel light was facing up and away from her. It was just enough to give me that extra light that I needed.

This past week was an amazing work week. I had two shoots that will be put on my list of favorites. First there was the European mega star Leona Lewis. That was a fun shoot and the photos from that shoot will be out soon.

Next was a shoot with Mike Tyson. I really found this to be a very special experience for me. Mike is now a full on Vegan and his love for animals and his pigeons is beyond anything I have seen. New shoot I did recently with my beautiful wife Daniela for a European publication. For the photographers who ask, this was in direct sunlight at 2pm in the afternoon. I used a medium size square soft box with a 750 watt fill flash to get rid of all the shadows that were hard from the sun. It is always good to have your subject turn away from the just a bit so they are not squinting from the sun light. Used Nikon D-300 on this shoot with a short lens. Stayed really close to the subject.- Peace Christopher

With this amazing weather we have been having in California I thought it would be the perfect time to take my beautiful wife Daniela to the happiest place on earth for her first time. So we pact our things and grabbed our dear friend Debra Wilson and headed to the magical land. It was one of the best days already of this short year. It was amazing to watch Daniela enjoy Disney for the first time as we all did as children. It was 80 and sunny. The park was not even half full and the day was perfect. 1950's Fun At Homes

Daniela and I love the 1950's style diners so much we decided to create one in our place. With the help of our friend John McEanneny we started from scratch and built this beautiful diner. The furniture was custom made by a company back in New York, American Chairs. All the extras are a mix of new and old. There are authentic 1950's items all through the diner including: toaster, view master, drive in movie speakers, milk shake maker, iron and magazines. It was a really fun project for us and we enjoy ever minute in the diner. The 50's was an amazing time for many people and we like to keep that time alive.

So with new diner came a new shoot with the beautiful Daniela. Sporting the 1950's dress and scarf these photos are really fun and a great addition to hang in out diner.

Had a great shoot with the amazingly talented actor Eric Roberts. It was a fun shoot. Eric and his wife Eliza are great animal people and they have many rescues that they have opened their home to. Amazing 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' Tribute.

This was a once in a lifetime show. It was a 35th Anniversary tribute to the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' the line up of live performers was crazy and included: Danny DeVito, Jack Nicholson, Jorge Garcia, Lucas Grabeel, Melora Hardin,Ricki Lake, George Lopez, Julian McMahon, Lea Michelle, Mathew Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger & Evan Rachel Wood.

The crowd was out of control in a classic Rocky Horror fashion. One of the evenings highlights besides all the amazing talent was Tim Curry taking the stage at the end of the performance.

It was a great way to start the Halloween weekend.

This weeks feature for my OK! magazine page featuring: Holly Madison, star of Girls Next Door, and Peepshow in Las Vegas. This shoot took place at Holly's home in Las Vegas and in the casino in Planet Hollywood. Holly has always been an animal lover and was the main attraction amongst the pets at the Playboy Mansion.

It was really exciting to photograph Holly again with her two new additions her ferrets named Sid and Nancy.

This week was a very exciting week with photo shoots. Monday and Tuesday were spent in Vegas photographing Holly Madison. It was a fun shoot and will be featured in OK! in upcoming weeks. While there we hit up some shows including 'Peep Show' starring Holly Madison.

Our dear friend Debra Wilson joined Daniela and I on our trip and Debra took some fun shots of us while there. Saturday was a great day. It started with another photo shoot with Elvira. The photos are for her publicity shots for the new show she has coming out in the fall. It is always fun spending time with Elvira she is an ageless beauty. Can't wait to post the photos. This is a behind the scenes shot with me, Elvira and Daniela.

Then it was off to Last Chance for Animals 'Puppy Mill Awareness Day' It was a great event raising more awareness to the horrors of puppy mills. There was lot's of support from many people and Pink was there to show her support. Two years ago myself and Last Chance for Animals presented Pink with an award for all her hard work with animal issues. I had the honor of photographing her for a couple of covers of magazines and will setting up some new PSA shoots soon. -Peace Out Christopher

Been very busy. Shoots, media and events. Daniela and I have become part of the media storm in Romania. For some reason now Romania is very interested in our love story and has been featuring us in their weekly magazines. Most recent 'Click' and featuring Daniela on the cover. We have been doing lot's with Pamela Anderson and animal rights work. We hope all to go to Romania and address the stray dog issue there one day soon. I have also been busy with my new weekly page in OK magazine. I'm really excited to be working with such a great group of people at OK. Check out this weeks issue featuring Pamela Anderson and her two new rescues. All in all things are great and business is doing great. Next up a Romanian trip. Peace

Here is a fun Spec shoot I did with Daniela. This was shot in Los Angeles and the car is a 1923 Model -T Ford roadster. The car was re-built in the 70's. This was shot in HD on a Cannon XH A1. Shooting and edit was all done in one day.

I knew Public Service Announcement I shot with the beautiful animal rights advocate Maria Menounos for 'Last Chance for Animals www.LCAnimal.org Last Chance for Animals created this amazing 'Adopt! Don't Shop' campaign to help put an end to the horrors of pet stores and puppy mills. Many celebrities have been lending there faces to this worthy message. This photo really portrays the joy we get from rescuing an animal in need.
